Middlebury Basketball Cleans Up NESCAC Year-End Honors


Vermont’s own Matt St. Amour has been NESCAC men’s basketball player of the year and all is named a first team all-conference selection.

To top it off, St. Amour is also named one of ten finalists for the Jostens Trophy, which is the most prestigious award in division three basketball.

Middlebury head coach Jeff Brown picks up NESCAC honors as well, he’s been named the NESCAC coach of the year for the season consecutive season.

The Panthers, boasting a 24-3 record, will open up NCAA tournament play Friday night when they host Farmingdale State at 7:30.
