Liz Scharf from Capstone Community Action and Forrest Gardner from CVOEO appeared on Local 44 Morning Brew Tuesday to share advice to college graduates on paying off student loans.
In Vermont, the average student loan debt is about $28,000. Students have a grace period of six months before they have to start paying off their loans, and can enroll in a number of payment programs in order to do so. Some of those plans are detailed in the video above.
