Montpelier police say there have been two suspected heroin overdoses in less than a day.
According to police one overdose patient survived and one was found dead in his apartment.
Investigators say suspected unmarked heroin bags were found at both overdose location.
The press release says citizens in Washington County can get help with addiction by contacting their local police department, at any time.
Folks can also get help through PROJECT SAFE catch or through the Central Vermont Substance Abuse Services at (802) 223-4156.
Anyone with information about the selling/dispensing of heroin or other drugs is asked to contact their local police department.
