Friday, at the box office, film critic and Assistant Professor at Champlain College, Julia Swift reviews this romantic comedy starring Geraldine Viswanathan and Stranger Things’ Dacre Montgomery.
Swift was happy to see an endearing, relatable character take the spotlight. She says “A lot of the women we see in romantic comedies feel so shy and reserved, or bold, but never kooky to cover-up their insecurities. This feels very real.”
The film is in theaters now.
