The “Sweets in the Raw” author joined us on Local 44 Morning Brew to give us a preview.
And here’s the recipe for her chocolate macaroons:
1 1/2 cup shredded coconut
2 teaspoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil (defined)
1 tablespoon date paste
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash of salt
Directions: Place all ingredients into food processor until well combined. Use a mini ice cream scoop to create bite-size desserts.
