Multiple People Injured After Single Vehicle Crash in Barton

Police are investigating a single vehicle crash in Barton that left four young people in the hospital with serious injuries. 

According to Vermont State Police it happened at around 2 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of Hollow and Cross Road. 

State Police identified the driver as 18-year-old Dylan Holmes Sandborn. Police say he was speeding and collided with a dirt slope along the side of the road. 

Troopers say Sandborn was without a valid driver’s license and was driving the vehicle without the owner’s permission. 

Sandborn and four juvenile passengers were transported to North Country hospital. 

Troopers are continuing to investigate the incident.
