COLCHESTER, Vt. - Local 22 & Local 44 News has learned all five Vermont National Guard soldiers involved in an avalanche last Wednesday have since been released from the hospital.
The last one was sent home Monday, according to National Guard spokesman Lt. Mikel Arcovitch.
Six soldiers were in the Easy Gully area, near Smugglers Notch when the avalanche occurred.
The guard was preparing to conduct mountain warfare training which focuses on survival, mountain climbing and rappelling.
The guard has said it will conduct a review of the incident.
