NY Federal Primary on Tuesday

New York holds its federal primary election on Tuesday.

Five people are running for the Democratic nomination in District 21.

Tedra Cobb from Canton served eight years as a Saint Lawrence County legislator.

Emily Martz from Saranac Lake spent 3 and a half years as director of operations and finance for the Adirondack North Country Association economic development group.

Patrick Nelson from Stillwater is in his third Congressional campaign, having served as an intern for Aaron Woolf in 2014 and campaign manager for Mike Derrick in 2016.

Dylan Ratigan from Lake Placid has a background in finance and has also appeared on CNBC and MSNBC.

Katie Wilson from Keene is a single mother and businesswoman.

Polls are open Tuesday from noon to 9pm.

The winner faces Republican incumbent Elise Stefanik in the general election in November.
