NYSP: 10 arrested in Prostitution Sting

New York State Police along with the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office have arrested ten men for patronizing with a prostitute. 

Police say the ten suspects were arrested on October 12. 

Police say James R. Ward, 33, of Plattsburgh, Matthew R. McNamara, 38, of Wilmington, Sean M. Wood, 33, of Morrisonville, Peter N. Dumont, 38, of Chateaugay, David T. Gordon, 28, of Cadyville, Mark A. Winterbottom, 42, of Peru, Bradley R. Gardner, 21, of Ellenburg Depot, Raymond E. Weed III, 49, of Jericho, Vermont, David A. Hermenson, 49, of Beachville, Nova Scotia, Canada, Dean H. Alford, 58, of Dannemora were all charged with Patronizing a Prostitute 3rd Degree, a class A Misdemeanor. 

Officials say Weed and Hermenson were arraigned at the Plattsburgh Town Court, and are being held the Clinton County Jail.  Weed and Hermenson are scheduled to reappear in Plattsburgh Town Court on October 10. 

According to police the other eight individuals were all released and are scheduled to appear in Plattsburgh Town Court on October 20. 

Police say the investigation into prostitution and human trafficking in the Plattsburgh area is ongoing.
