New York State Police arrested a man they say forcibly touched an 11-year-old boy in December.
James Boothe, 32, Mooers, N.Y., is also accused of performing a sexual act on the boy. He was arrested on Wednesday.
The victim and Boothe know each other.
Boothe is charged with one count of forcible touching, 1st degree criminal sex act, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned and remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond.
Boothe has another scheduled hearing on Thursday.
