Plattsburgh City Police say three people were arrested Tuesday after an ongoing, multi-agency drug investigation.
According to a media release, law enforcement seized heroin and crack cocaine during a vehicle stop, plus during the execution of a search warrant in two separate locations in Plattsburgh.
Tuesday, police arrested Cody J. Grenier 24 of Dannemora, New York, Eryn Devins 31 of Ellenburg, New York and Amber Woody 29 of Plattsburgh, New York.
During a traffic stop that afternoon, police stopped a car on South Catherine Street, occupied by Grenier and Davis.
Police say Grenier was operating the vehicle at the time, and was found to be in possession of 56 individual bags containing heroin.
Police also add Devins was found to be in possession of 47 individual bags containing crack cocaine.
Following the vehicle stop, police executed a search warrant at 159D South Peru Street, where an additional 57 bags of heroin and seven bags of crack cocaine were seized.
Police estimate the street value of the narcotics to be in excess of $10,000.
Both Grenier and Davis were charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree a Class “B” Felony.
Grenier was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and committed to the Clinton County Jail on $25,000 cash/$100,000 bond.
Davis was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and committed to the Clinton County Jail on $5,000 cash/$25,000 bond.
Woody was charged with one count of Criminal Nuisance 1st Degree a Class “E” Felony.
Woody was released on an appearance ticket.
Future charges are pending.
