Plattsburgh Police Arrest Pair for Selling Heroin, Crack, and Cocaine

Plattsburgh Police say two people were arrested on Thursday for selling and using heroin, crack, and cocaine. 

Police say Kristy Seymore and David Rodriguez, were arrested after a search warrant was executed at 53 Oak Street.

According to police, rescue crews had responded to residence earlier in the day for reported drug overdose.

Police say the pair was arraigned at Plattsburgh City Court on Thursday to answer to the charges of criminal nuisance in the first degree. 

According to a media release, the pair was held in jail for lack of $10,000 bail. 

The City of Plattsburgh’s Police Chief sent the following statement about the arrests. 

“The Plattsburgh City Police Department is commit ted to continue an aggressive approach in identifying these types of criminal behaviors that are associated with the serious Opioid Epidemic that has hit our community. It must be said that this particular case involved more than just law enforcement, but many concerned citizens and public employees who had a watchful eye on the activities and serious health concerns relating to this particular premise. For that we thank you! We ask for the continued cooperation from our citizens. Our resolve to keep our City safe, peaceful and beautiful will not be deterred. The City Police Department is working with other City Departments to avoid future problems at this location as well as other neglected properties throughout the city, ” Chief Parkinson.

“This is an excellent example of how collaboration across agencies and departments help to keep our city safe. Many eyes on situations like this allow us to exercise multi – pronged approaches to combat the serious opioid problem facing cities like ours,” added Plattsburgh’s Mayor Colin Read.
