Police: 28 Animals Living in Poor Conditions Removed From Ferrisburgh Residence

Vermont State Police say three people were cited for animal cruelty when authorities found 28 animals in poor living conditions at home in Ferrisburgh.

Police say on October 7, after a search warrant was executed, Vermont State Police along with  members of the Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists and the Addison County Humane Society and the animals were seized.

A media release states that multiple dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, a hamster, and a bearded dragon were taken from the property.

Police say, Katherine Ferguson, 61, Thomas Ferguson, 51, both of Ferrisburgh and Roxanne Clark, 36, of Bridport have all been cited to appear in court on October 18.
