A truck chase in New Hampshire sparked several small brush fires Tuesday night before police finally stopped the driver near Lebanon, NH.

New Hampshire State Police say they started following 42-year old Christopher Dwyer of Salem, NH on I-93 near Manchester at about 11:00 PM. He was allegedly driving a 2011 GMC Sierra pick-up that had just been reported stolen in Boston.

Troopers tried several times to slow Dwyer with tire deflation devices, leaving the truck with heavily sparking rims setting off small brush fires. The New London Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames.

Police say Dwyer and the truck finally came to a stop on I-89 in Enfield, NH and was arrested without further incident. He’ll be arraigned later today.
