Police: Man Accused in Assault Found After Running Away from Treatment Facility

Vermont State Police say the man once accused of beating a repairman with a wrench in 2011 has been found after he ran away from Second Springs, a mental health treatment facility in Williamstown.

Jon Fox, also known as Evan Rapoza, was tracked down on Miller Road in Berlin.

He was returned into the custody of the Department of Mental Health.

The Northfield News reports the charges against Rapoza from 2011 were dropped because was deemed “insane” at the time of the incident. That’s why he was institutionalized.
