Two Vermont men were charged for larceny Tuesday after they stole multiple items while helping Kenneth Grey, 37, move items out of his house, according to Vermont State Police.

Officials say Fairfax residents Joseph Goodroe, 25, and Timothy Loiselle, 27, were hired by Grey’s neighbor to help move “junk/trash” out of Grey’s residence.

Police say that while Goodroe and Loiselle were there, they stole multiple items including a television, an infrared heater and a power drill. They returned the television and heater when first confronted, but not the drill.

State Police caught up with the two men and the drill was returned to Grey, according to a release.

Both Loiselle and Goodroe will appear in the Vermont Superior Court for felony charges.
