A 23-year old Vermont man was arrested for allegedly hiding 520 bags of heroin in the roof lining of his car, police say.
Vermont State Police say dispatchers received a 911 call about a car driving erratically while traveling north on Interstate 91 Sunday morning.
Police found the car at a Springfield, Vt. gas station and spoke with the driver, Timothy Ksepka, of Hardwick.
During a consensual search of his car, police say, troopers found 520 bags of heroin concealed in the headliner of his car.
Troopers found it by removing the dome light, which revealed a natural void in the vehicle.
Ksepka was issued a citation for Trafficking Heroin, Transporting Heroin into the State of Vermont and Possession of Heroin.
Bail was set at $1,500.
He’s due in court on Monday.
