According to the latest Gallup poll, Vermont remains the least religious state in the country.
The latest poll shows twenty-one percent of Vemonters in 2016 would call themselves very religious.
The poll says two other New England States, Maine, and Massachusetts are the second and third least religious.
Gallup says Vermont has been named the least religious eight times in the last nine years. New Hampshire took the spot in 2015.
According to the poll, Mississippi remains the most religious.
