Pomerleau Honored for Giving to the Community

A man who dedicated his life to the community is being honored in a special way.
Last fall, Tony Pomerleau gave 1-million dollars to the Community Sailing Centers “Love Your Lake Capital Campaign.”
The sailing center wanted to give him something extra special for his 100th birthday.
So, they named the new waterfront campus after him.

“A lot of what you see behind us here, wouldn’t have happened without tony’s gift.” Said Owen Milne, Executive Director of Community Sailing Center. “Helping to create that momentum to bring the community behind creating the Community Sailing Center. So we’re dedicating the building to him today.”

Pomerleau says he’s looking ahead to the next century of Vermonters.
