Randolph’s Chief of Police Daniel Brunelle has been placed on paid administrative leave after being charged with 2 counts of misdemeanor domestic violence.

According to court documents a relative claims he shoved her against a refrigerator last Saturday.

On Monday police say there was another incident.

Brunelle denies both.

According to town officials Brunelle himself decided it would be best to take leave, until matters are cleared up.

Randolph is currently looking for an interim chief.

We’ve reached out to Brunelle’s attorney but have not heard back yet.
