Actress Carrie Fisher has died at 60, according to People Magazine and TMZ.
People reports that a family spokesperson issued a statement on behalf of her daughter, confirming Fisher passed away around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Fisher was traveling to Los Angeles on Friday when she suffered a cardiac arrest in mid-air. She was rushed to the hospital after landing, where she later died.
Fisher is most well-known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series.
