Rutland Hannaford’s recalls ground beef over metal fragments

News

RUTLAND, Vt. – The Hannaford grocery store in Rutland is recalling its 91% lean Angus ground beef because it may contain metal fragments.

The potentially tainted beef has a “sell by” date of July 21 and “use by” date of July 23. If you bought meat with these dates, return it to the store for a full refund.

Hannaford says the Rutland location is the only store affected. No illnesses or injuries have been reported.
