Rutland Police Arrest Man Connnected to Thefts After Breaking Into a Car

Rutland City police say after an investigation into a high number of burglaries at homes and thefts from cars, a man has been arrested.

Officials says police identified and interviewed several person(s) of interest and have gathered evidence for the investigation.

On Thursday, Tyler Bushey, 23, was arrested by police after they say he committed a larceny from a car.

Bushey was arrested for one count of burglary, one count of possession of stolen property, two counts of grand larceny, four counts of petit larceny, and eight counts of violation of conditions of release, according to a release from police.

Authorities say Bushey is being held at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing and police say they expect more arrests.
