Several fire departments in the Rutland area are on scene of a fire at Rosen and Berger inc.,a scrap and salvage yard business on Route 4-A.

Officials say the fire was caused by an electrical failure in the office area.

It started just before 7:00 p.m. Monday night.
According to the Rutland City Fire Chief they’re responding with mutual aid, along with Proctor, and West Rutland.
When crews first arrived flames could be seen coming out of the roof on one end of the building.
Officials say no one was injured.
Chief Bill Lovett said Rosen and Berger is a staple in the community having been around for over 50 years.
