Governor Phil Scott says sexual harassment training is now mandatory for all state employees.
The move comes after national dialogue around the prevalence of sexual harassment.
The training is designed to educate state employees on how to identify, prevent and address sexual harassment issues in the workplace.
This is in addition to requirements for the governor’s appointed staff to attend the same sort of training.
The Department of Human Resources commissioner says 400 training sessions have already been scheduled across the state over the next year.
