The Shelburne Museum is bringing back Rock and Roll’s greatest hits.
It’s new photography exhibit Backstage Pass: Rock and Roll Photography, highlights rarely seen photos of Rock and Roll legends.
The artists span from the 50’s through the 90’s, from the Beatles to David Bowie to Madonna.
About 300 photographs give an intimate look at artists’ career off stage.
“You don’t see the heroic shots, with the guy with the guitar between his legs,” says Museum Director, Tom Denenberg. “It’s all about musicians backstage and so it’s a really rare access and glimpse at the Rock and Roll lifestyle.”
The exhibit, which also includes snap shots of Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley, is on display until May 7th.
