Police in Stowe are investigating two burglaries that happened Tuesday during the daytime.

The first incident happened on Upper Pinnacle Road and the other was on Weeks Hill Road.

Police say the suspect or suspects forced their way into both houses. Some items taken include wallets, credit cards, cash, a shotgun, liquor and clothing.

Over the past month, police say there have been three car break-ins on Mountain Road, in the Notch by the trail access and by Bingham Falls. A number of items were taken from the vehicles after the car windows were smashed.

Police want to remind everyone to not leave personal or valuable belongings in their cars.

If you see anything suspicious, the Stowe Police Department wants you to give them a call at (802)-253-7126.
