Street Crimes Unit making headway in St. Albans

St. Albans Police Department’s newly formed Street Crimes Unit is making progress after making a drug bust.
    
The unit says it conducted a lengthy investigation into the production and sale of crack cocaine in the greater St. Albans area.
    
Police located and seized about a pound of cocaine, plus $2,500 dollars.
    
It led to the arrest of 59 year-old Pamela Rich, in Swanton.
    
But police say they are anticipating more arrests.
    
St. Albans Street Crimes Unit tells us 27 officers from St. Albans, plus other local and state agencies helped in the investigation.
