If you’ve noticed a few extra hot rod cars on a road the past few days you’re not alone.
The National Street Rod Association is in town this weekend.
Although the events don’t kick off until tomorrow many where out detailing their cars and getting ready for the big day tomorrow.
Around 1,500 cars are expected to line up at the Champlain Valley Exposition.
Burlington is the last stop on the hot rods nearly six-month long tour across the country.
Jim Rowlette the NSRA Marketing Director says “We use to be street rods only… which was 1948 and back. Several years ago we opened to a 30-year rolling date. So now it goes to 1987, so we have not only street rods but we have the classics from the 50’s and 60’s we have the muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s so it’s a little something for everyone.”
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $6 for children. The gates open every morning at 8 am.
