Vermont State Police announced two arrests after a joint investigation with New York State Police into a stolen ATV.

Officials say they spoke to Nikia Hebbard , 18, of Bennington at the home where the ATV was found.

Police say starting Oct. 23, VSP helped NYSP with an investigation into a theft from Cobble Hill Rd in Eagle Bridge, N.Y.  Authorities say the stolen ATV was found at a home in Pownal, Vt.

On Friday, police say they got information from the Bennington County Sheriff regarding the whereabouts of Steven Russell, 28, of Bennington, who is wanted for parole violations in Vermont.

Authorities say they met with Hebbard at a home in Pownal.  She gave false information to police about Russell, according to VSP.  Russell was found in the home and arrested.

Both Russell and Hebbard are facing charges related to the theft.
