The U.S. Marshals Office says the escaped New Hampshire fugitive, Eric Judkins has been captured.
Authorities say he was found at a residence in Howard Pennsylvania on Thursday night.
“This dangerous fugitive was quickly arrested due in part to the large number of tips that came into our office, combined with the tireless work of the investigators in both NH and Pennsylvania.Thank you to everyone that had a part in this investigation, without your help, this quick arrest would not have been possible,” said U.S. Marshal David L. Cargill, Jr.
Officials say Judkins, an inmate at a halfway house in Manchester, NH, and failed to come back to the facility. Judkins was serving a 27 month sentence for a serious assault that happened while he was in federal prison, according to the U.S. Marshals New Hampshire.
Authorities say the assault happened while Judkins was serving 17.5 year sentence for a 1999 bank robbery.
