Vermont: Dispatcher Phone Outage Resolved

Vermont State Police in northern Vermont experienced a dispatch phone outage on Friday.

According to a media release, administration lines were down in Williston, St. Albans, Middlesex, and St. Albans, St. Johnsbury, and Derby.    

Officials say 911 was not affected. 

State Police say the problem was a FairPoint equipment failure.
