Vermont State Police investigating Rutland armed robbery

Police are searching for two suspects that are accused of armed robbery at a Rutland convince store.

Vermont State Police say the incident happened just after midnight on Friday when two males entered the Sandri Sunoco Store on US Route 7.

According to police, one of the suspects showed a firearm and demanded money. When the suspects got the cash they took off on foot.

Police say both suspects covered their faces with white bandanas.

The first suspect was described as a white male with dirty blonde hair. He was 5’8” to 5’10” tall with a slender build.

The second suspect was described as a white male with dark brown hair and possible facial hair. He was 5’6” to 5’8” with a stockier build.
