Vermont State Police say a man who has ties to the Vermont National Guard was cited for sexual assault for allegedly having sex with a fourteen-year-old girl.
Police say Josh Robbins, 22, of Radcliff, Kentucky was at a party in Bethel this September when he allegedly had sex with the teen.
Officials say Robbins lives in Kentucky but is in Vermont often for National Guard duties.
Police say Robbins is being charged with sexual assault, he scheduled to appear in Windsor County Superior Court on Tuesday.
Local 22 & 44 has reached out to the National Guard for comment. “At this time, I am unable to confirm the status of Josh Robbins as a member of the Vermont National Guard. However I will look into the matter as soon as possible,” said Captain Dyana K. Allen, State Public Affairs Officer.
