Vermont Lottery officials say a Barre store sold a winning $5 million dollar ticket on Tuesday.

Officials say the winning ticket was sold at the Brookside Country Store, the Mega Millions ticket matched 5 out of 5 numbers for the 1 million dollar prize.  The ticket included a Megaplier multiplier which raised prize to $5 million.

The winning numbers were 2-43-52-62-63 and 6 for the Megaball. The Megaplier multiplier was 5.

“Having a high tier prize winner of this size is amazing. The extra dollar spent for the Megaplier gained this lucky ticket holder an extra $4 million. It’s great for our players and agents,” said Jeff Cavender of the Vermont Lottery.

The winner of the ticket has not come forward yet.

No one won the $52 million jackpot.
