Vermont Colleges Receiving Multi-Million Dollar Grant

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont colleges are receiving a multi-million dollar National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant.

According to U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the five year grant will help keep Vermont on the cutting edge of biomedical research.

Sen. Leahy (D-Vt.), UVM President Tom Sullivan, and representatives of nine Vermont colleges and universities will announce the grant Friday.

Partner institutions include Saint Michael’s College, Lyndon State College, Castleton State College, Norwich University, Green Mountain College, Middlebury College, Johnson State College, the Community College of Vermont and Landmark College.
