The results are in, and we’ve got a sneak peak look at Vermont’s ‘2017 Best Places to Work’ list.
Each year the list is created and released by the Vermont Business Magazine and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. It features 45 of the state’s top employers, 16 of which are new to the list this year. the award is given out based on work place policies, practices and demographics; and surveys which measure the employee experience.
City Market Co-op in Burlington is just one of the new award winners. “We really celebrate that diversity of thinking, of perspectives, we have a lot of conversations amongst our staff. and as an organization we really do want to get people’s views on things so we can always continue to learn,” stated Co-Op General Manager John Tashiro.
