Village Vote: Waterbury Could Dissolve

People in the Village of Waterbury will vote next week on whether to dissolve.


If voters approve the charter change, the village would essentially become part of the town.


The village police department would also go away.


Leaders say the police department has become far too expensive for the village to afford.


The polls open next Tuesday. Voting will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
