Voter Registration Up in Vermont


Voter registration is up in Vermont according to the Secretary of States’ Office.
Six months ago the state started an automatic voter registration program.
When you update your driver’s license information at the DMV it’s immediately sent to the town clerk’s office.
From the start of the year to June 30 more than 12-thousand voter registrations were processed or updated.
That’s about 4,700 more than last year.
