The Vermont State Police and the Chester Police are looking into two violent threats against Green Mountain Union High School, and authorities in Michigan have a man in custody that VSP believes made one of them.

A GMU student received an online message on Monday that threatened violence against the student while he or she was at school. Police say that message has now been traced to Jason Graham, 23, of Three Rivers, Michigan.

He’s in custody on a parole violation and his computer has been seized. However, he has not been charged with anything connected with the threat yet.

Someone else called in a bomb threat to the school Thursday morning. The school was placed on lockdown, and the VSP Bomb Squad found no explosives.

The investigation of the bomb threat remains active, and VSP is asking you to call the Chester Police at (802) 875-2233 if you know anything.
