Take a walk in St. Albans while helping hundreds of people who are homeless in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. This year’s Walk to End Homelessness takes place Oct. 7 at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex.
The event helps to raise money to provide people without a home a bed to sleep in. It’s hosted by The Tim’s House, an organization that provides shelter, nutritious food, clothing and compassion for those who are moving from homelessness to stability.
The event on Saturday will help support this organization. The walk begins at 1 p.m. Anyone who donates at least $50 will receive a Tim’s House t-shirt. There will also be complimentary water and food at the event.
