Another chilly start with morning lows from the middle 20s to the low 40s. Tis the season, average morning low for Burlington is 40°. With high pressure still in control we are clear, and sunny for the better part of your day. Heading into the afternoon, high temperatures will reach the upper 50s to the middle 60s. Expect breezy conditions as well, south winds will likely sustain around 10-15mph. Around sunset clouds will become more noticeable, a cold front will move closer and stall to our northwest. Overall we are dry for the night, though an isolated shower or two is possible. Thanks to the clouds moving in, it will stay a tad warmer Friday night. Overnight lows will range from the mid 40s & mid 50s.
Saturday and Sunday will be noticeably warmer, with a warmer air mass being ushered in from the south highs will reach to the upper 60s to 70 degrees on Saturday. Saturday is partly to mostly cloudy with a few isolated chances of a shower. Sunday we tack on a few more degrees with highs in the low to mid 70s. Clouds are still thick, with scattered showers during the day. The front will moves east Sunday night it Monday with additional chances for rain.
Behind the front temperatures will fall, day time highs return to the mid and upper 50s on Monday. Then we are drying out into early next week. There is an isolated chance of a shower Tuesday, but over all the trend looks dry.
