Go home Saranac Lake…It’s TOO COLD! 4 degrees off from the freezing mark. NO THANK YOU!
Many areas including Saranac Lake and the Northeast Kingdom are waking up to a bit of morning fog, but that clears out quickly this morning.
Plenty of sunshine on tap for your Monday with temperatures climbing into the upper 60’s to low 70’s in our southernmost counties.
Another very chilly night is in the forecast Monday night, as clear skies and calm winds allow are temps to free fall into the upper 40’s in the valley’s, mid to upper 30’s (yes I said 30’s) for the Northeast Kingdom and the Adirondacks.
Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday morning as our next weather maker approaches from the west.
We’ll start out with the warm front, bringing showers to the Saint Lawerence Valley by early afternoon, Champlain Valley by late afternoon. Those will continue overnight and into your Wednesday as the cold front associated with the system passes on by. The other weather story for Wednesday is a return to summer-like weather, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70’s and feeling sticking in the mid 60’s
Have a wonderful Monday!
