It’s no April Fools joke, it’s snowing outside in many spots, especially in the Champlain Valley! A little area of moisture has brought us some light snow showers across our region.
We are keeping an eye on some of the area rivers as flood warning have been posted for Orleans County. The Barton River is currently flowing at 7.8ft and is expected to rise to 8.3ft in the coming days. The river reached flood stage at 8ft so expect flooding in fields and low lying areas.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
Tonight: Snow shower put down a dusting for the valleys, higher elevations could see up to 3″ Temperatures fall to the mid 20’s.
Monday: Snow shower wrap up, skies clear to partly to mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 40’s.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with temperatures in the upper 40’s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 50’s.
Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 40’s.
Have a great week!
