Good Evening and Happy Sunday. It was a lovely day today with clouds gradually clearing out during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures only climbed into the upper 60’s even mid 50’s in the Adirondacks!
Skies will continue to clear out overnight, and winds will go light- a perfect recipe for temperatures to free fall by the morning hours. You can expect temperature waking up Monday morning chilly in the mid to upper 40’s, even upper 30’s in some of our coldest spots like Saranac Lake and Island Pond!
A little bit of morning fog may great you as you start your day Monday, but sunshine will help to burn it away early in the morning. Mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 60’s is on tap for the start of the workweek.
Tuesday will start off just as Monday did, chilly with sunshine, but by afternoon clouds will thicken up ahead of our next weather maker, a low-pressure system that is cruising in off of the Great Lakes. Rain showers will start to move into the Saint Lawerence Valley by late afternoon, and stick around overnight into Wednesday morning.
Have a great week!
