Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! I wish it could have been a bit of a better day, many in Southern Vermont were stuck in the clouds and rain showers throughout the day. North of Middlebury, for the most part, stayed dry, Sunday.
At this hour, showers are departing Vermont and skies are clear out overnight. Clear skies and calm winds overnight could lead to a few areas of fog overnight, otherwise, we are quiet heading into the start of the work week!
High pressure is cresting right over the northeast, meaning a beautiful day is on tap for Monday with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s.
That beautiful weather will stick with us through part of the day Tuesday, but an area of low pressure that sneaks by the region to our south may push a few light showers into southern Vermont late Tuesday.
Here’s how the week is shaping up:
Monday: Mostly sunny. Mid to upper 70’s.
Tuesday: Mix of sun and clouds. Stray shower to our south. Upper 70’s to low 80’s.
Wednesday: A few light afternoon rain showers. Upper 70’s
Thursday: Dry to start, rain showers by afternoon. Mid 70’s
Friday: Rain showers. Low 70’s.
