Weather Blog: We dry out Tuesday before showers and storms are back for Wednesday

News

How you doin’ this Tuesday? Having trouble getting going after the long weekend? SAME!

What did you think of yesterday’s weather? Lots of heavy rain through the afternoon, places like Underhill picked up over 2 inches of water! I didn’t mind it and took the rainy weather as an opportunity to wrap my self in a blanket, watch some TV and get some organizing done. How did you spend your day?

Back to work today and we are starting out with a lot of clouds and fog! The trend is clearing as we are already seeing plenty of sunshine through the north country.

High pressure is currently in control of the forecast, but as that slides to the east, winds switch to the south overnight, becoming blustery especially in the Champlain Valley and Saint Lawerence Valley.

There will be a few morning rain showers as energy ahead of the front kicks off some showers early Wednesday, but another round of showers and storms kick-off by afternoon.

Have a great Tuesday
