Get ready for some cooler weather to close out the work week! High pressure builds east following Wednesday’s cold front passage providing a couple of sunny, seasonable days and clear, chilly nights.
Thursday, temperatures reach just the mid to upper 60s with a light north breeze of 5-10 mph. Thursday night, lows bottom out in the low to mid 40s valleys and mid to upper 30s across higher terrain. Patchy frost is a possibility in colder pockets of the Adirondacks and Northeast Kingdom. Temperatures will slowly moderate through the weekend, with highs returning to the low and mid 70s as soon as Friday.
On Saturday, clouds will begin to increase from west to east, though showers will likely hold off until the evening across northern New York, and overnight for Vermont into New Hampshire. There may be a few embedded thunderstorms Saturday night, though severe weather is not anticipated at this time. Rain continues on and off through Sunday, with showers coming to an end on Monday.
Have an awesome day!
