Weather: Cooling Trend for the Weekend (7/20/2017)

News
Planner for July 21 2017

Hello everyone,

What another beautiful day Thursday was! High temperatures were mainly in the lower to mid 80s and huimidity was manageable. Some saw a few passing showers with embedded rumbles of thunder but they were quick moving. Officially, we didn’t have any severe storms but there was a report of an empty trailer blown over in Champlain, NY just before 1pm. There was also a barn that got damaged in the area. Any lingering showers will be ending as you read this. Thursday night will be very similar to Wednesday night with lows dipping into the mid 60s. Keep window fans or A/C units going because sleeping will feel uncomfortable for a few. As skies clear overnight it will make way for some early morning fog, especially around rivers & valleys. As the sun rises, the fog will clear and Friday will be just as beautiful as Thursday, if not better, with highs in the upper 70s & low 80s. A weak cold front will drift south over us during the day. It’ll bring a few showers & isolated thunderstorms but they will pass without any problems. Friday night into Saturday, any showers that get going will end and your plans will happen with no weather interference.

Saturday morning will start with temperatures in the lower 60s. Early fog will gradually thin and bright sunshine will illuminate our skies. Saturday afternoon will feature a solid mix of sun and clouds but it will be dry. Saturday night stays largely dry but a few light showers will be possible in southern Vermont & New Hampshire. Skies however, will become mostly cloudy with lows in the low 60s. Sunday, showers and clouds spread north/northeast as the day goes on. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Rain continues off and on Monday and Tuesday morning before we have at least some partial clearing by Tuesday evening. Wednesday will be sunny & dry again.

Have a great Friday!
