Weather: Hot, but not as humid (7/9 AM)

News
Monday July 9th

Good morning!

The temp soars into the mid and upper 80s, nearing 90 degrees, again on Monday afternoon. However, with significantly lower dew point temperatures, it should feel more bearable to you. The air is lighter and less steamy – though it’s still quite warm and about 5-10 degrees above average. Mostly sunny overhead with a south-southwesterly breeze of 5-15 mph. Tonight, mostly clear and mild; lows in the 60s.

Tuesday, expect overall increasing clouds with an occasional shower or an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. This, as a cold front swings through. It won’t be a ton of rain, which we need, but it is a good idea to keep a rain jacket handy. Low 80s. Wednesday and Thursday, mostly sunny. Low to mid 80s. Our next opportunity for showers is Friday into Saturday.

Have a marvelous Monday!
